Disneyland

I just went to Disneyland this last weekend, First time that I've been since the Indiana Jones ride first opened up. I just have to say that I had a really good time. It possibly could be the "Happiest place on earth". I went with Cierra, Christie, and Sue. They were really fun to go with, and are troopers!! We were at the park for the full 15 hours it was open. There were alot of fun things to do, and i made a lot of good memories. Think everyone should go and have make there own memories to share with the world.

While we were there in the LA area, we also went down to Venice Beach. Pretty cool place to go and relax. We also walked down the Hollywood Blvd., which is a interesting place. There are a lot of characters down there.

Anyways, Disneyland s doing the whole, get in to the park free on you birthday thing. So I suggest that everyone should go and have a good time.

I mean I didn't go for my birthday, but I should have. GO!!!!

Oh yeah, I go luck and got to drive the Jeep in the Indiana Jones ride. Probably the highlight of the day!!

So just really quick. I've been preparing for the a test that I'll be taking in November with the Tempe Police Department. Those that I've told that I'm doing this know how excited I am, and have been really supportive. All the prep is going really good. Wish me luck.

Jeepney Bistro

Okay so as some of you know, I served my mission in the Philippines. Every once in a while I crave Filipino food. Mostly just a dish called sinigang na baboy. Its kinda hard to explain what it is, but lets just say that it is Delicious. I found a place in Chandler called "Jeepney Bistro", its a nice little resturant run by Filipinos and they serve just about everything there. The people that own it are really nice, but that just might be cause they found out that I speak Tagalog. Well I've be going there probably about once a week to satisfy my craving and I love it. I get to brush up on the Tagalog as well, which is nice. So if you guys ever feel like something a little different, and want to take you taste buds on a little adventure, go to the Jeepney Bisto. 1st Birthday gift of 2009

So right after finishing my first blog post the mailman came to the door and delivered me my first Birthday gift of 2009. It's from Dirk, one of my budddies up in Utah. Here is a picture of it. Thanks Dirk. I'll trying getting a pic of me wearing it with Shamu.

The 1st one

So its Saturday, i don't have to work, I don't have anything to do. So why not start a blog, right? I've always though about doing this, but never really got around to it. Guess I just thought that I had nothing interesting to say, but after thinking about it I have some pretty fun, crazy stories that I wouldn't mind sharing.

So My birthday is coming up in like five days. People that know me well can tell you that I'm usually not to excited for that day, but this year is a little different. although I'll be here (AZ) on the day, I won't be here for the birthday weekend. Decide to take a trip to good ol' Cali and visit a huge whale named, Shamu. I know that Disneyland is doing this whole free entry on your birthday thing, but I'm going to Disneyland at the end of March, and don't really feeling like going to the happiest place on earth twice in one month. Plus I really want to see that Big Effin whale. I'm really excited to get out of the valley even its just for a couple of days. I take picture's, so I can share the fun.

So really quick. I'm going to school this semester and just taking some class that interested me. For example U.S./Arizona Constitution and U.S. History from 1870 to Present. I really like the History class and feel that I'm learning some stuff. I can't say the same about the Constitution class. I go to class and don't feel that I learn anything there. Decided the only way I'm going to learn anything is to read the text book and that's it. I'll stick with it, its interesting stuff. I'm going to apply from the Police Department here in Tempe as soon as they aren't on a hiring freeze. I could go over and apply in PHX, but really don't feel like working for that Department. So I'll just wait, go to school, and prepare until I can apply here in Tempe. I'm excited for it.
